A streamlined sheet metal workflow

Facing many upcoming projects and an accelerated completion timeline, McElroy’s needed a way to streamline their sheet metal workflow from detailing to fabrication. They wanted to retain their AutoCAD-based environment for detailing, but they needed a better workflow for fabrication.

A Revit workflow simplified fabrication

During discovery calls between IMAGINiT and McElroy's, they found the fastest way forward was to leverage IMAGINiT's TakeAIM approach. TakeAIM is a highly customized implementation methodology that ensures the best rate of success. 

Because of the accelerated timeline, they used virtual services for most tasks. Virtual delivery allowed for more immediate and flexible scheduling while reducing overall costs. McElroy’s successfully modeled sheet metal in Autodesk Fabrication CADmep and imported it to Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct for nesting, labeling, and burning on their plasma table.
